Broken access door handle

I received my new WSM 22.5 earlier in the week. I didn't open the box until yesterday morning, the day of my first smoke with it. I opened it to discover that the access door handle was partially broken (plastic cracked, it would just spin around, not letting you properly latch door). The door was significantly bent. I contacted Weber customer service, and they are sending me a new door. However, I still had some spareribs ready to go, so I improvised with a 10 pound sledge and a tamper.

Anyway, the ribs turned out well. I just used the 3-2-1 method. I was amazed how easy temperature control was. I hope future smokes go as smoothly (minus the sledgehammer).
