Broilmaster G-2000D Restoration

Well if they didn't come with an original grease catcher then that glass jar gives me an idea. I have a large collection of glass canning jars from the early 1900s. I'll see what fits. I can also try the stainless steel one that came with my P4
Oh I really like that idea. I'll take a picture from under mine this afternoon to show what it looks like

This picture from the front shows the two swivel wire holders for the grease catchers in the back. They swivel and tighten down with a wing nut when you get them in place. So you can swivel it underneath and then lock it down and then swivel it out to remove and to dump it.

IN all likelihood you can still buy what Broilmaster called "valve hoods" if I recall the term correctly. I remember many LP dealers sold the conversion parts directly from Broilmaster. I would not be surprised if they still use the same valves. Basically conversion always simply consisted of buying the correct "hoods or orifices", and the correct line and regulator. So even though back then the grills were made by Locke Stove Company don't be shocked if everything is still the same with the valves

I hope so Larry! I'm sure I'll get it figured out one way or another

The brackets are the same. I haven't been able to find any new or used so far. I'm sure somebody has some or at least measurements
I don't think the double was made with side shelves, but that doesn't mean you can't add them. Mine only has a front shelf, but it is a newer model where they went to slats.

The one thing I would say is that the side shelf on the right might get in the way of the big handle you use to move this monster grill!
