I've only cooked one CAB and I found it pretty close to prime. With regular choice from the supermarket or selects, I can definitely tell they aren't prime. I only every once in a while find CAB at the super market. It's completely random and they always charge the same price as select. The Creekstone Farms and Aspen Ridge natural prime briskets usually go for 4.99 a pound at my butcher so at that price, I'd cook a CAB if its available. They just usually aren't. The Creekstone and Aspen Ridge briskets are VERY good, though. I think it's mostly evident in the point section of the meat, though.
