Any tips on brining chicken before smoking?
I’ve never brined before.
I do have some pink brining salt that I purchased ( not Himalayan).

Sounds like you might have pink curing salt, aka Prague powder #1.
This will cure the meat, and it cannot be used like regular salt.
It is a sodium nitrite concentration and understanding its usage is very important.
