Bottom Rack

I have only used the top rack and not the bottom rack on my WSM Classic and plan on cooking up a couple of chickens and some pork ribs next weekend. Do I need to rotate these cooking items every few hours??

Richard, bottom rack may cook a little hotter than top rack. I am cooking 2 brisket for comp and plan on rotating 2x during my HH cook. This because I want them both to be done at the same time. With 2 different meats I would say put the one you want to cook a little hotter on the bottom, with consideration for what you want dripping on what.

You don't want the chicken to rest as long as ribs can, but you don't want raw chicken dripping on almost done ribs, either.
