Borracho Beans and Corn Bread

First up, some corn bread in some CI skillets. Was afraid I made too much batter so I added some in a smaller skillet.




Bacon, onion, garlic, and jalapeno


Added a lb of soaked pinto beans, tomato sauce, cilantro and smoked a package of sausage that needed to be used up. Sausage was chopped up and added to the beans later


Beans done and served with a slice a corn bread. Should be nice and warm under the covers tonight!!!!


 
That is some fine looking food John! I love your bean recipe and when you added the sausage in I was sold! I want some!
 
Is borracho the sound you'll be making under the covers tonight? :)

I like beans too and those look good John!

WOW!!!! John that looks so good I'd take a bowl of that any time. Corn bread looks yummy also great job.
