Bone-In Ham

Cooked my first bone-in ham on my WSM.

• 11 pounds
• Cherry Wood
• 3 1/2 hours at 250
• Basted for the last 30 minutes
• Removed, glazed and then placed in oven at 500 degrees for 5 minutes

Love twice smoked hams. Whenever I find a good deal, I buy a shank half and fire up the grill. Nice to have a couple of smoked ham steaks and some sliced for sammiches in the freezer. Also love scalloped spuds w/smoked ham and Gouda.

The best part is that I got this for free. My local supermarket keeps a tally of how much you spend each year, we hit the threshold and got this beauty! It always tastes better when it is free!
