Bobby Flay/Wood Chicks/Throwdown Last night ??

I've tried to write a response to this thread a couple times and found myself stumbling over my words. I am not certain why. Just now I came across a post in my blog from last summer. My wife and I dined at Bobby Flay Steak in Atlantic City. We like him, but were not as impressed as we expected to be with the dining experience.

RD, sorry about the bad experience. I have to say you broke two of my cardinal rules: never eat at a casino, and never order a steak out.

bad service is the pits. I can't stand when they make me wait to give them my money. I read something from a former server, who said its easy to give good service, you have to go out of your way to provide bad service and deserved to be tipped accordingly.

Because of the celebrity, prices are much higher than they would be otherwise. All that raises one's expectations. Had this been served at a local joint that we go to regularly, we would have been very pleased (other than the waiter).
