BLUES HOG Baby Backs

Thanks everyone! Yeah, that Blues Hog is great stuff. Those ribs last night were some of the best i've made and the rub and sauce made the taste. I'm hooked

Glad you like the Blues Hog Jim! If you want to spice it up a notch mix it 50/50 with the Tenn. Red sauce. That's my go to sauce for pork.
Some Schnucks stores carry it and some don't. All of the Straub's Markets carry it, as well as Fiquero's in St Charles and Kenrick's down south. If you're wanting to stock up, the Farm and Home Supply store in Alton carries it at a GREAT price! Cheaper than I could ever sell it for.

Hope that didn't sound too much like a commercial Chris. Even though I don't sell Blues Hog anymore, I do love hearing stories like Jim's and I still like to use and promote the sauces. If I stepped out of bounds feel free to yank it. Thanks man!

Sorry Jim, I should've said for the guys in and around StL. Off the top of my head I can't think of any Wis. stores. Chicago maybe, Iowa for sure. Matter of fact Hawgeyes.com is out of Iowa. They are probably the largest online distributor, but they also have a storefront. I'll delve a little further into it and see what I can find. I'll betcha it's somewhere in Wisconsin!

Jim, you've discovered the secret of Blues Hawg BBQ sauce. I use it strictly for a finishing sauce on ribs. It puts such a nice glaze on them as you undoubtedly know.

Jim - that rib cook looks fantastic. Bryan and others are always talking about how great the BH rub and sauce are and I keep meaning to try it. Have to get up to Shillington and pick some up! They have some Salmon rub I want to try too.

s'ok Rick, when I run outta it, i know how to get more

and you're absolutely correct Paul, the secret is out now (at least in this area). And that's just how i used it, finishing up the ribs. Ray, you GOTTA try it!
Thanks guys!!

Hey Jim - forgot to ask. I really like the looks of your kettle set up in the photos. Like the idea of the round plate you have underneath. Stainless steel? What's the diameter? Half circle (doesn't go under the coals)? Looks like it works as a nice flash pan to burn/smoke the drippings? Or just something convenient to create that level shelf for keeping drippings out of the bottom and holding the pan level?

This thing DOES keep the bottom of the grill bowl clean.
