Blue/Sidewinder/330/Restoration/Could Go Any Direction

Ooh! That’s really bold! I love it. I believe you said it was a gift, but I would love to see how the market would respond.
Thank you Jon!!
If I list it what should I list it for?
I think I'd let it go for 500 but less than that I'd probably rather donate it to someone who would appreciate it. I think 500 is a bit of a stretch for a 330

I think it looks awesome that way. So I take it you painted the handle and door pulls?
Yes and clear coated so they won't get scratched up when they Grill gets used. Also blacked out the bezel on the temp gauge and the straps that go over the lid and the borders around the doors. Oh and the table end caps and control panel and caps.

That's just the thing, who's really going to appreciate it the way we do? The only person I know that actually stops on his own to look at my stuff is my brother in law when he comes by. Nobody else really appreciates what goes into these grills to get them like that one. At least when someone buys one from you it's a form of appreciation.

I actually sold a couple 300 series grills that had the blackout treatment in that price range even here in corn country🌽. Mine did have stainless bottoms and backs, but they weren’t as dazzling as yours!

Looking back I don't remember ever selling any of my Genesis 300 series. Im pretty sure I donated all of them that I ever restored. That was kind of my gateway into Weber restoration. This was the last one that I have had sitting around for several years now waiting to be Restored.

Now if I can stop getting enticed by easy money Genesis ii flips I can start working on some of my own personal grills restorations again.

You were right. I had it up for sale for about a half a day with lots of offers. Sold for full price offer $500. To a young and very excited happy customer.

For the record Jon your restorations are 100% Dazzling!

Funny thing is the young man was shopping for a grill for his parents cabin as we discussed in messaging. When he showed up we noticed that the grill perfectly matched the blue of his truck. After he looked it over he said yeah his parents are going to have to find a different Grill because this one is staying with him LOL.
