blanket/insulating question


 
thanks for all the great advice fellas. i ended up going with a metal washtub and a welding blanket. one last question, will it hurt anything to put the metal washtub on my deck, with the smoker in it? will it get too hot, or will the metal reflect the heat away from the deck?
