Decided on the way home from work to stop by the meat market and get a brisket to throw on the smoker. Only one they had was 20.69lbs. I've never attempted one this big. With some houdini like work I got it on the smoker. We will see tomorrow how good it comes out. Until now the biggest one I've ever done was around 16lbs.

Bought a case of brisket not long ago, great deal for our area $3.69/lb. 5 pieces. Largest was 20 lbs. First one to hit the smoke on the 22. Slow very slow

Biggest one on the 18.5"wsm was around 17lbs. Biggest ever was around 24lbs, did that on the 22.5"wsm just fine.
Here's the 17lb'er

iv done a 16lb on the 18.5. i trim the fat layer between the flat and the point. when i put it on the smoker i can twist the point off to the side with them still mostly connected. I dont see a way anything over a 13lb brisket can fit straight across an 18.5, but then again im still new to it.
