Bib Bob Gibson Rub?

Hi all,

I've been using the retail version of BBG's rub for the past couple of years and really like the flavor. My questions is: Has anyone compared the recipe on this site (and what I believe to be a copy from their cookbook) to the retail version? Before going out and buying all the different bulk spices, I would like to know if it is close to the original before making large batches of the rub from the recipe.

I don't know how closely they resemble each other, but I often use the recipe in the BBG's cookbook and can tell you that it is a darn good rub.
