Behemoth genesis

I love the poster says they paid $3599 for it. LOL Wonder who saw them coming?! Now I wonder who they see coming? PT Barnum coined it best

Probably just consciously inflating the purchase price to make it seem like such a better deal than it is. I didn't know Weber made a monster Genesis like that. It seems better suited to the Summit line.

I think $650 is in line for that of it's in good condition. Not for me but I don't see it as an unreasonable asking price.

Putting aside the $3500 fiction, his asking price seems pretty high. However, it does look like all the cabinets here have avoided rust, so the care must have been good. All you are really getting is a 2nd series 300 grill with extra cabinets attached on each side. I suppose if you covet a semi-built in look and can keep it out of the elements it could be nice. I think that Weber created these add-on cabinets to better compete with other grills offering that look. For me, it is a lot of extra space with little obvious use. You are not getting cold storage or some kind of other aid to outside grilling. Just metal cabinets that will have to be monitored carefully for the breakout of the rust monster.
