Beginning the research.

I am thinking about making the jump into the ATC world. I have been reading up on the Digi Q and the Party Q. I can't seem to find anything that will justify me spending the extra for the Digi Q DX2. The thing that I like about the Party Q is that it is battery operated and I do not have an outlet on my old back porch. I have a 22.5 WSM. I generally use an iGrill for the meat probe. Any insight would be great. The more that I read about these things the more useful they seem.

We have a CyberQ, older model, pre wifi. We can run two pits from one guru. Also, we can use our net book to operate it via a USB cable. We've had ours for a couple years and really like it.

Using a digiq for the first time. It's been stuck on 240* (where I set it) since 04:00 on a butt.

Went ahead and purchased the Party Q and the eyelets for the probes. We'll see how it works.
