Beef Tenderloin Rub

In a recent post I indicated that I was grilling a tenderloin for Christmas and wasn't going to use a rub. After reading various posts, I think I will try a rub, and could use some suggestions.
I'll post the results in the photo section if things don't get too hectic.

I like a course rub on my beef. I use black pepper,garlic flakes and onion flakes and grind them course in the coffee grinder. Then throw in a few red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. I salt the meat and then add the rub.
 
Thanks guys. Am sure one of the two recipes will work or maybe a combination. Picking up the meat in the morning. Kids are both on their way home; it's the first time my son has been home in a year and daughter since this summer. They sure grow up fast. Merry Christmas.
