Next up we’re making some beef jerky! Going to smoke for 1.5 hours on the SW at 180*F, then into the dehydrator to finish. So far I’m loving the SW! My poor Slate is hardly getting used.

Here’s the final product. Very pleased as our my girls! Love the smokiness it has. Never smoked the jerky before dehydration.

Eye Round roast
Soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, black pepper

I use a very similar recipe and use pineapple juice in lieu of brown sugar and add some tomato paste. The tomato paste adds a nice tanginess and no extra salt.
