Thanks for visiting!

Nice work Jim! Beans and Wenies! The perfect dinner! Love the burgendy kettle as WELL! HOPE you enjoy the rain and keep it down there for a bit!

When you're done with the rain send it our way, we've been hot and dry for over a month. I had a deer grazing on my front lawn, errrr dry hayfield, last night.

Love those brats, wish we could get em like that here.

Looking good Jim! Bet it tasted just as good as it looks. We have had the same cloudy skyes for 2 weeks!

There are some happy farmers in Campbellsport today as well as some happy corn! Nice meal and I love the kettle! More rain please!

Great looking meal Jim.

Next time Liz does some green beans, have her consider the following recipe. The sauce really kicks up the beans.

Ray

French Green Beans

1 large bunch French style green beans
1 tbs butter
1 clove garlic, minced
½ inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely zested or grated
1 tbs soy sauce

Steam or boil green beans until just done (about 8 to 10 minutes)

Sauté garlic and ginger in butter for about 2 minutes, then add soy sauce.

Toss green beans with butter sauce and serve.

Wholly Frijoles James, you ready for football tailgatin' already?!
A meal worthy of a Partial Packer owner!

Happy to hear y'all got some rain up there.
Guess my Native American blood is too diluted, my rain dance ain't working.

The title of your post had me worried.

I thought (more like SHOCKED!) to hear that you had gone to the dark (vegan/vegetarian) side. It sounded like brats made from beans...

That looks pretty darned good! - just wash 'er down with a good brewski or two or three and then work outside the next day.

Good lookin' brats, Jim! We really like Stoneridge's brats as well.

Nice to get a little rain. Sure could use alot more.

thanks everyone for the nice comments

Ray, Liz likes her veg,.... well, let me have her tell you.
"I'm sure its good (French Green Beans recipe), but beans straight from the garden need nothing, in
my opinion."

yeah, she prefers nothing on her veggies... maybe a little pepper.
