BBQ Island Build

Needed a table to use when cooking on the deck. Built it about the height of WSM and 24x24 top. Mainly serves as a place to place the lid when cooking. Put hooks along the front and under to hang Mavericks and other utensils. Will stain once the wood dries out.

That’s a nice looking table Kevin. Just a thought being that it's 24x24 you might pick up a 24x24 piece of floor tile and put it on the top to protect the finish from grease and stains plus an easy clean up. I also see you have puppy pads under all your equipment to protect that gorgeous deck, me too.

I choose to go 24x24 so I could put a piece of tile, stone, or maybe even a piece of copper on top. This island will also serve as a stand for my Lodge Sportsman Grill too.

I did something very similar placed between the Kettle and WSM. You're gonna love it. I know I can't live without mine. I ended up topping it with with four 12 x 12 tiles.
