BBQ/Grilling Cookbooks

Yea on my Mom's side. Grew up on Kugela, bacon buns etc.

I didn't.
Me too. On my Mom's side. Her parents came over from Vilnius and settled in Brooklyn. I have vague memories of sausage, potatoes and cabbage being boiled...when I was about 5...that was a long time ago.

What a good one for me to start with-my favorite spice!!!

Ginger Chicken (Thailand)

2 fresh or dried chiles
2 TB. oil
3 shallots or 1 medium onion, sliced
2 TB. minced garlic
1 3" piece fresh ginger, minced
1 lb. boneless/skinless chicken in 1/2" chunks
3 mushrooms, chunked
2 scallions, chopped
2 TB. soy sauce
2 TB. nam pla
2 tsp. sugar
fresh lime juice to taste
sat and pepper to taste

Cook and stir-fry in wok.

SOMEBODY out there must have a cookbook that they cook from. Would love to hear what you are cooking from it. 🥰
