Which type of "Barkeeper's Friend Cleaner" for cleaning-up Cast Iron Pans??

If you're talking about cleaning after cooking, I'd avoid it. It's abrasive to the metal and it'll start stripping your seasoning. Stick to regular dish soap and a scrubber or one of those chain link iron scrubbers.

I thought it was made for stainless steel. I would not use it on cast iron. I wouldn't use any abrasive on cast iron. I believe it is an acid based product combined with abrasives specifically for a reaction with stainless. Is there a different type that is good for cast iron that wont ruin the patina you build on purpose?

BKF is the last thing I'd use on cast iron. This from The Barkeepers Friend web site:
"I’m going to begin this post with a warning. This article, tips for cleaning enameled cast iron, is only for enameled or lacquered cast iron cookware. BKF heavily advises AGAINST using BKF on regular, run-of-the-mill cast iron. So, please don’t attempt this on standard cast iron products."

I’ve never even considered BKF for cast iron! Why would you do that?

Totally agree, works a charm on stainless, enameled surfaces, ceramic. For anodized, I use “Bon Ami” doesn’t seem to mar or scratch that at all!Good for just about anything else though.
