Bar-B-Q KETTLE, Gray???

I know this has been brought up here before. The seller says its actually gray and not faded black. I'm going to check it out today. No date code that I can see on the pic. Does anyone know around what year this was made?? Wood lid handle and flat metal handles on kettle.

I believe the vent would put it between 1971 and 1975. Something seems off though. I thought MBH's had rounded bowl handles as opposed to the flat one seen in the photo?
