Bacon-wrapped with Cheese-weave

Inspired by Tony's post from New Years Eve, i wrapped six cheddar filled Johnsonville's, then sprinkled Penzey's California Pepper onum.

and over high heat.

laying two slices of cheese, one sharp cheddar & one Havarti, on top of each other,
i sliced 1/2 " strips then wove the cheeses together.

placed the cooked sausages on the weave on a tortilla...

...then back on the hot grill.

when the cheeses started to melt, i took them off the grill and rolled the tortillas around the dogs

and ate'm :) they were good.

Note to self do not post a pic of a simple cook and have Jim L. look at it. Man no insult to Tony intended or implied but man you knocked that knock off out of the park. The cheese weave was too cool.
 
Darn it Jim...I have dinner all prepped and planned and now I want to change it up!!

Love the cheese weave!! Could only come from a true Wisconsinan..
