Bacon Wrapped Thighs, and a new camera to play with


 
Great cook and new toy! Thanks for the Costco corn tip.

We looked at the Nikon version of your new camera and came to the same conclusion that Mike did - great idea but the poor design (and decent DSLR price) made us keep our old pocket zoom camera and buy a DSLR. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of pictures you get with yours, especially with that much zoom. The birds won't be able to hide from you!
 
Nice work and super pictures Bob! I see your hobby certainly pays off! Your photography is always outstanding (and your cooking is pretty good too!)

Hoo-boy, don't know if anyone will be back to see this but:

Brad, yes I use some of the old manual lenses on the K-5, and the Q w/adapter.

Mr Coffman, PM me if you want a line on a good price for a new Pentax Q w/lens.
I'm pretty sure there's a Nikon to K mount to Q adapter too.

Mr Lampe, not my bacon. salt/pepper & smoked paprika on the corn, yes, 1 char basket of TJ coal, not a chimney.
 
I remember seeing this post Bob, but forgot to comment... I think bacon-wrapped chicken ways it all. Great grub, cool camera!
