Hi folks... Sunday is normally my bacon and eggs day but my wife had other ideas(baked oatmeal)...bless her heart she will be the only reason I see 50! If I had it my way it would be alot like Burgess Meredith said on "Grumpy old men" bacon, bacon, bacon...and drank my dinner!!! So had to incorporate some bacon in tonight's meal! Bacon wrapped sirloins, asparagus and crashed taters!
Started some (what else) bacon for the taters!

Topped off with a little mushroom red wine reduction sauce, and a lemon vinaigrette found on page 247 of webers "way to grill'!

Meat was right on at about 130ish!!! Very tender and lots cheaper than tenderloin!

Tremendous bacon wrap meal Morgan, I like the way you cook, and what you imbibe whilst cooking!

We have a 4 yr. old yellow lab, Brooke, and I've been fighting off the urge to get a black lab pup.
My wife says "Let's do it!"
And I keep telling her that there's not enough room in her chair/lap for two labs.
 
Great cook and a clever way to get your recommended daily allowance of bacon. I love the Sam Irish Red -- George Killian should take notes!

...Jon I highly agree on the Irish Red! It's one of my new favorites!

...Bob I say just do it!!! Labs are fun! Just keep your shoes on lock down! We have had our black lab for almost 8 years and just got the yellow about 6 months ago(both pound puppies) still can't believe people give em up but worked for us!

...Jim if the labs had been wrapped in bacon they would have licked themselves to death by now!
