Cube steaks were pounded to about a ¼ inch.
Added some S/P, onion, garlic, jalapenos and Chipotle pepper. The steak was then rolled and wrapped with the bacon.

Put on the Performer using lump charcoal and 1 chunk of mesquite. The ones with the skewers are the jalapeno and
chipotle ones. Temperature is right at 300 degrees.

1 hour later the bacon was crisping up nicely, so coated the steaks with homemade BBQ sauce.

Another 15 minutes and they were done.

Excellent flavors and delicious! The beef was a tad bit dry but I expected that since cube steaks are not one of my
favorite cuts to work with, but nothing some extra BBQ sauce couldn’t handle.

Thanks for looking!

You could put that list of ingredients in a pot of water and boil them all and it would probably be good, but those rolls grilled is killer.

Never seen beef rolls mike! A different variation from a fatty ----me likely.

I def have to give those a whirl! Nice looking cook!
