Background – I have been grilling for seven years or so. Other than smoking on the Performer, I have been smoking on our 18” WSM since late winter. I’m still a puppy at this. Soooooooooo, today we tried the recipes for beginners listed on this site, specifically “baby back ribs for beginners”. We mixed the rub per the instructions but took a little liberty with the smoking. I went 230F for three hours then 250 to 270 for another hour. We did two racks instead of three. We used the recommended sauce on 1-1/2 racks, (my son wanted to try “dry” for the other half). The results were terrific! I post this because too often we get caught up in the “details” of things and forget the fun. This is easy folks. Anyone can do it. If you’re starting out like me, I really encourage you to try this one out. It's listed under the cooking topics/beginners section. Enjoy!
