Baby Backs and Chicken Legs

Decided to smoke some baby back pork ribs and chicken legs. Used KBB original and a 50/50 mix of hickory and apple wood chunks.

Ribs went on at 1 pm and were wrapped at 4 pm. All three racks were wrapped with home grown honey and dusted with light brown sugar. I used an old faithful rub on two of the racks and a new creation on the other rack. The new recipe was a hit with everyone. Also made some homemade sauce.

Ribs go on -

Legs were started at 4 pm and done at 6 pm. They were cooked on the bottom rack.

Ribs done at 6 pm.

Chicken looks outstanding so does the ribs. Care to share the "new" rub? Im a bit starved for ideas. And your own Honey...Thats really cool. We had a neigbhour that had a bee farm were i grew up. Always the best Honey.

Agree with others, ribs and chick look great. Like the grill setup on the back deck.

Did you build the table or buy it? Would like to know more about it and the metal top.

I build the stand myself. It is made of pressure treated 2x4's and 1x6's. It is 24x24 and about 34 inches tall. The top is a piece of 0.060 stainless 304. I am still no sold on the metal top. May try a piece of tile. The stainless is easy to clean though. Built it mainly as a place to put the lid of the WSM or kettle when cooking.

Great looking Ribs & Sticks Kevin!
Built it mainly as a place to put the lid of the WSM or kettle when cooking.
I use two 1'"x2"x24" strips of scrap wood to lay my cover or mid-section on...
