Not BBQ or Grilling, but I made up another batch of these last night. They are probably my favorite thing in the world to eat. I make them about 3 or 4 times a month.
The liquid is the key. Sake, soy sauce, mirin, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, ginger, dried chili, star anise, green onions.
Flipped after getting a little color
The liquid concoction that makes the magic.
Just before covering to simmer.
After 12 mins of simmering covered.
Almost done. 10 mins of simmering uncovered.
Time to eat.
