Arlo and Janis

...with daytime highs barely reaching 70', yeah, I most certainly can relate to this...

I can relate to that also. It's been hot here this summer, much hotter then normal. But the humidity is nuts we're normally in the 30-40% it's been 70-90% all summer. So we sit inside and cruise the TWBB and others in nice air condition comfort.

....Rich, I was talking about how COLD it's been...
i just figured Arlo was turning on the furnace!!!

It's 10:20 am here and it's 95, when I got up a 6 am it was 78. That's why my brain went for AC.
I think it is A/C that Arlo is setting, look at Janis (unless she's having a hot flash)

This tidbit on the local news, earliest measurable snowfall here was October 20, 1916.
Maybe we can beat that this year.

For what it's worth.

Farmers’ Almanac Winter Weather Forecast 2015-2016

The Farmers’ Almanac official winter weather forecast for 2015-2016 just debuted and it predicts a very strong winter on the East Coast and in the Midwest, while western regions including, Colorado and Wyoming, may see more of a “typical winter.” According to this forecast, which appears in the 199th edition of the Farmers’ Almanac, and is determined 16 months in advance, the Pacific Northwest and California will possibly get skunked, and have more of a “mild” season.

That's no Farmer's Almanac, it is a pretender to the throne.

This is the Farmer' Almanac:

This is the one that can claim an accurate weather forecast.

And I agree, Arlo is turning on the air. It's either a veiled statement on global warming or Janis is indeed having a hot flash!

Jim, you sure live in a great place if you hate COLD, my family in Michigan across the pond from you go through snow hell from Nov to April. Beautiful country but you got to be prepared.

Like prepared as in being a snowbird? That sounds good to my ears.

Jim, I believe you are of the age that being seen driving a golf cart on the streets of Miami in the months of December through March wearing Bermuda shorts and a T shirt that says Old Farts Rule would be totally acceptable. Go south old man go south:p
