I just received an email from Thermoworks that they have a big product announcement scheduled for 1230pm Mountain Time tomorrow. Any ideas what it might be?

Well we now know it is an updated Smoke. Mine works just fine. Of course there will be no software upgrade or exchange program.

They've posted stuff up. The Smoke X. It comes in a 4 probe version and later a 2 probe version. It seems to have the same ability to use the fan as the signals. What I like about it is that is has a dedicated receiver. I love my smoke but just having 2 probes is occasionally limiting. I wasn't as keen on the signals as it required a android or ios device, and that's just too much stuff to go wrong in my opinion to be truly reliable. The phone could roll out an update that breaks the app for instance and it wouldn't even be thermoworks fault.
edit: Also doesn't rely on wifi or bluetooth which is a plus in my book. In fact it looks like they have no plans to add it either.
