Any excuse to cook outside...

Nothing revolutionary or too exciting but it has been so nice out, I try to cook anything I can outside.

Using my DIY griddles for the Weber gasser:

Cooking the chicken, the spatula was great for cutting it too.

Broccoli Chicken Alfredo





These griddles work a lot like a wok...chicken was done and banked up on the warm side. Put the broccoli on the hot griddle, then put some water in the center to steam it. Worked VERY well and super fast to make it tender.




This was probably the best and most surprising part. This was off brand Texas toast style bread. It was so much tastier on the griddle than in the oven. Very nicely toasted on both sides but very tender in the center. Each person eating commented on it.



You can see I used the side burner to boil the noodles and mix it all together.




Sorry for no plated pics...it was a paper plate night and nothing great.... It was all very good though for mostly store bought sauce, bread etc....
