Any body use these hinges??

I am with you Bill,I bought a hinge from “Unknown” and it’s on a kettle I don’t really use that often but, the design and manufacturing are so well thought out! I was toying with the idea of getting one of the above mentioned ones, and have thought better to get one from Jason again and do it right, do it once and use the best! I am still in the planning stage Fr my “double barrel” WSM carriage and whether of nor to get hinges for both is still up in the air, I have all winter to design the thing!

Hi All Just put in the last 2 screws for the bottom part of the hinge..This time it went much faster & better using a step drill from Harbor Freight. The hinge is nice and sturdy now!!.

Now looking for a way to make the lid easy for removable when I use my rotisserie..Was thinking of putting a 1/4 rod where the screws go.

Great to hear, Dan. Did you ever get the "hinge pin" idea to work out?

Hi Still working on the hinge pin thing.Might just a get a 1/4 steel rod and insert it thru the openings where the screws & nuts go.
