And now for something different......Kettle Cake

I have been reading about "mug" cakes that you cook in a coffee cup in the microwave. No fun in that. I figured that if the recipe was easy enough to cook in the microwave, surely it would work on the grill. I cook pretty good BBQ, but I'll be the first to admit that I am horrible at baking. However, this turned out pretty good. I went ahead and posted the recipe in the desert section. If you are thinking of trying something different for the wife/kids on the grill, give this a try!

Sorry for no "action shots". But I swear that I did cook it on the performer and it turned out great! I have some action shots from the cook for the "test cake" cook that I will be posting soon. Thanks for looking!

Love it! Probably goes a long way to help the seasoning of that pan too.

That would also be great cooked in a muffin tin for individual servings......................d

Thanks Everyone! This is really good for seasoning your cast iron. I did not add any wood to the fire, so the cake did not have a strong smoke flavor. It was really good!
