Last evening I did a 2 step ribeye on the Z Grill. Have not done that yet on the Z. Only the MM. Performed wonderfully. Did a 250 low until 120. Pulled and tented to rest while the Big Z got cranked up to 460. Finished the ribeye on the lower rack for that nice overall crust, doneness to 135ish. Left big Z running so wife could make her "Pleasing Aroma to God"
She takes the slices I cut for her and Fred out there to do her Old Testament thing. I told her when she's finished leave the lid up and hold the "Start" button in until the display says "Off". Well, she simply pushed the power button. Guess I am VERY lucky it did not result in a hopper fire
