After vacation cooks!

Howdy folks!! Back from the east coast! Was a great trip with lots of good food and fun! But a whole week without cooking... Man extra tuff duty!! So on the last leg of the trip I was already planning to cook dinner! Landed at 1pm and had coals going by 3:30 pm!

I soaked some reds and corn with EVOO and this...

After about 20 minutes I tossed the chicken on direct and just boiled the corn ...got busy and had no plated pictures but this..

It was amazing after not much sleep in a week and a few beer and boy everything went downhill fast!

And Sunday started with Tri tip salted for an hour... Rinsed and heavily peppered and hit it with some garlic.

Don... The seasoning is a bit like a kicked up old bay I suppose! You should be able to find it easy!!! Don't be shy with it and you might make something separate for your daughter!
