added a 22


 
My wife bought me a 22" for my birthday a couple weeks ago. She wanted to make sure it would hold several racks of ribs :coolkettle:
 
Now you have a place to store the baby!!

I actually used the ring from the baby wsm to season the big guy.
it had a batch of half used briquettes in it - so I just poured on a large chimneys worth of lit and set it going.
straight out the box - 8 hours in the smoke zone easy - NO water in the bowl

door wasn't too bad - just had to give it a nudge here and there to narrow a couple of gaps - may look at a gasket at some point
had to hug the centre section to make it more round though. bottom fit OK but the top was very tight

big smoke session planned this weekend with a couple of my BBQ team mates - testing some recipes for this years comps.
we have a brisket, pork butt, half pork belly, baby backs, chicken thighs, drummers and wings and burgers - should be FUN!!!

next step is castors :)
