A new way to do steak?

Wasn't sure where I should put this but, seeing as how I just got my ultrasonic cleaner I stumbled on to this new innovative use

Boy, people have too much time on their hands, sticking a steak into an ultrasonic cleaner. You know, a garbage disposal would tenderize a steak, too.

"You have the heat up really high, but that's what you're supposed to do for a pan fry." Yes, but not what you're supposed to do with non-stick teflon cookware. Good way to release toxic gases and also destroy your pans. Get some cast iron.

Here is the weird part. My son in law is always going on about how miraculous the Sous Vid is. And when I got this thing, my mind actually went to sticking a cheapo steak in it and seeing what it did. I guess I have a little bit of a sick mind or maybe "genius?" It will heat up to 80C so it's definitely in Sous Vid territory.

Not much you can do do with a crappy steak except put it in the trash.

I think you have that mixed up with kale. Which is why you always should cook it in coconut oil. Makes it easier to slide into the garbage

No, I'd have a dedicated garbage disposal that I used only to clean my jewelry and tenderize my steaks!
