My brother and I decided to start a new BBQ team with his three son in laws. Our first competition was last weekend. The SIL’s had never competed on a team before, but had enjoyed smoking various meats on 18 and 22 wsm’s in backyards. Our goals were to have fun, learn and try to make it into the top 50% of teams. We met all three goals and finished 31st place out of 87 teams. Very happy with it. Our best place was 12th in sausage category. Here are some pictures:
