A Couple New Toys and Turkey Two Ways

The last month or so,my pick up has been running rough. No surprise there,it's an 04 F150,with 150000 miles on it. I tuned it up,changed a fuel injector and it was still running rough. So I was talking to one of my customers about it,and found out that I was possibly damaging my catalytic converter! So,time for a new one! A 13! Woo hoo!

Anyhow,back to the cooking! Like I said,Pammi bought me a meat grinder attachment for our stand mixer. This time,some turkey breast was the food of the weekend. Ground it up and made some burgers that I saw Guy Fieri make. Blistered poblanos and some other spices made a real good burger! Here they are on the grill.

Covered with provolone and the usual burger toppings,these were a keeper!
Today,while the Panthers were losing yet another game,I ground the rest of the turkey and some pork chops and made some 'brats!

It was a bit labor intensive,but still better than the Panthers were doing. Here they are linked up.

Overall,pretty tasty! Pammi wasn't crazy about them,but that just means more for me! They were served with saurkraut,onions,and mustard.
As a matter of fact,other than Pammi not liking the brats and the Panthers doing their usual "let's lose,but only by a little" was I finally drank my last beer from St. Louis.

Rolf,I'm guessing you are talking about the truck. It's a BIG upgrade from my last one. Big red was a basic truck. I used a key to get in and had to crank the windows down to manually adjust the mirrors when someone bumped 'em. The gray one has power almost everything! I'm really digging that!

We are waiting for the 2015 f-150. Hopefully we can afford to buy it. My wife said it will be totally redesigned.
 
Awesome truck and cooks Phil! Don't feel too bad about the Panthers, at least they win once
in awhile! If the Jaguars make a first down it is a victory to me! ;)
 
@Alan,I just got the grinder and sausage stuffer attachments. Pammi has the pasta roller attachment. Other than those,we just use it for mixing stuff!
FYI,we got ours at Kitchen Collection at Concord Mills. It was reconditioned and we saved about $100!
