A compact Pellet Grill

The thing weighs 50lbs...not exactly easy to carry around. The feature that suggests pouring booze or wine into the fire pot for steam flavor is flat out weird.
Maybe the weight might be indicative of a better quality build? I had a friend who once said, "Any transmission you can pick up isn't worth installing". He worked on old military trucks.

A Q2000 is 43 lbs, so slightly less than the pellet grill. Much of that weight is in the cast iron grates on the Q. But, I agree, anything around 50 lbs is pretty tough to carry around for most people.

I've had one for quite awhile. Originally got it for camping when you go out in our trailer. But some Grill Grates on it and it has performed well. Also had some problems with temp swings till they sent me a new controller. Been fine for a year so far. But the thing is really heavy for being so small. I took it camping a few times and felt like was just a matter of time before I trip carrying it from the truck bed to where I'm cooking so now I just use it exclusively at home. Got a Weber Go Anywhere because I missed the taste of charcoal I remember as a kid and love it. So much so I'm getting a WSM for home use. Have a feeling once I get the hang of the WSM I probably will sell the ASMOKE.
