Well I hope some of you like the pictures of the Special edition I picked up. Looks like it was used sparingly. A good clean up and a donated rotisserie, and dinners ready. I believe from what I could find out it's a 2011. It's the grill of choice at my house and works and looks almost new.

I have mentioned before, but that grill is really the last gasp of the classic Weber design. Underneath that stainless hood and cabinetry is the same E-W burner/crossover burner set-up the original Genesis (1985) had. 26 years - not a bad run! I think that design explains why you like your grill so well! :coolkettle:
 
recently picked up the same grill and would like to change the lid to an older style Genesis lid. I really can stand stainless steel.
Does anyone know which one will pit?
