I got the idea for these from Bob Correll’s post about using a 50/50 mixture of soy sauce and brown sugar. We were doing a simple BSCB’s Sammie’s for dinner and wanted to try something different. Barb made a batch of her great homemade buns and some coleslaw also as a side.
I marinated the chicken for about an hour and a half in the 50/50 mixture I also reserved some for basting. I took the chicken out to warm and gave them a light coating of Weber’s Kick’n Chicken to add a little spice to them.
The Sammie’s had great flavor and for such a simple cook they will be seen at our home many more times.

Thanks Bob for the idea and thanks for stopping by everyone.
