March 25 was my wife's b'day and her sister (the one I like) got her the latest iPad so I inherited the iPad she bought her last year. Since this one has a camera I figured I'd start taking pics of food again.
This is what the yard looked like on the 24th
Did some pulled pork for the party. Set up indirect on the kettle with some sugar maple from the yard. Snows real handy for filling the pan

Almost finished. This is the last pic. There was a party goin on.

So a week later I'm at the butcher counter and there is a sale on bone in rib steaks for $6.99/lb and a sale on prime rib roast for $5.99/lb. which made my decision very easy. I got a 3" thick prime rib roast.
Got home and seasoned it up and showed the wife the "steak" I got. She said "that's not a steak it's a roast". I said "trust me it's a steak".
So on the kettle it went. Direct for a bit and then finished it indirect. Once again used some sugar maple, I have 2 cords of this stuff I need to use up.

View of the yard while the steak was cooking. Snow is slowly going away.

Plated up with a baker and some 'shrooms. Kerry wouldn't let me put the whole thing on my plate. She had some kind of veggie dish.

About a week later

Was doing up some button ribs to make sweet'n'sour button ribs for The Masters party.

Once again no finished pic because there was a party goin on. I cook them till they're almost done then cut into individual bones, put them in a pan with my homemade sweet'n'sour sauce and let them go in the oven for about an hour.
