Just for reference😏! Sorry, couldn’t resist. The 30% off on the Thermapen One is a great deal. By the way, I actually have one (Operation BBQ Relief edition), and I enjoy it very much. This new Lightning at least does seem to be a much more worthy competitor than prior entries, though.
 
Chris, I agree with your decision given the long relationship and support - plus the top drawer quality of their products. It would be a little like having Chevrolet truck and Ford truck sponsorships going simultaneously! (I drive a Dodge🤣.)

I love my Thermapen One. I do think, that for many casual users, Thermoworks offers some low cost but decent options for someone not prepared to pay for a high end unit.

This Lightning is a different animal and evidence that ThermoPro wants to be taken seriously.
