2010 Q-320 igniter going bad?

I use my first Weber a Q-320 3-4 times a week and sometimes the igniter doesn’t work as well as I would like. Any thoughts on cleaning it or changing it out. It’s usually after it rains so I’m wondering if I got some battery corrosion, I cleaned the button side and put in a new battery, it works, but I feel like it was better a few years ago.

Thanks for any tips.

A good cleaning is in order. Moisture though is the bane of ignitors (all ignitors click or battery). But the Q3xxx has little ports right by the ignitor that easily clog and it does not take much debris to cause issues. So pull the burners and really clean them. Also clean any debris from the sparker area. Make sure the wire is dressed away from anything, and last pay attention to quality of the battery and if there is corrosion on the contacts

^^^^ what he said

If you are getting spark, you need to get gas to the spark. Clean the burner.
