Good luck on it. I can work with a lot of things but rust is one of my Achilles heel items

Yah, my rust remediation skills and my tolerance for rust is low as well.

I am thinking of a completely new bottom - maybe even thick wood as some have used (but please paint gray!) and making it wide enough to mount what's left of the frame on top of it. Then get some decent casters attached to the bottom four corners.

Looks exactly like the 2007 that I restored for my son a couple of Christmas's ago. Fortunately, since it was found in Las Vegas, it had virtually no rust. Good luck on the restore! Only difference is the ignitor and the manifold support on the frame.
