There is no real way to fix the fade on the control panel. If you wipe it down with a light coat of oil or something similar, it will mostly go away until the oil washes away it will be back. Your only real solution is to find a better one from another grill.
2 The knobs , does any other colors or other model fit in ?
They did make black ones that style, but they are hard to find. You would need knobs designed for the Genesis 1000-5000 and Genesis 1-5. I don't think Silver B knobs will work. You could dye them any color you like however. Do a search on the forum for more information on that. Search "Rit Dye"
Thank you guy , pretty fun to sharw the passion here with you ! Excuse my bad english
Don't remove those bolts holding the burn tubes down. They are not meant to be removed. Just slide the burners out from under them. THey are intended to just be place holders for the tubes.
You can buy a new grease pan for about $20, in case the putty patch doesn't work. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=weber+catch+pan&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

I have used Silver B knobs on an x000 manifold. They are pretty much interchangeable. If you don't like the color of the original ones, I am with Bruce on looking into using dye. It is something I hope to learn about.

Bruce,
How about a dye demo at our Upper Midwest Meet this summer? I will pitch in for material costs.
