1985 Weber One-Touch Kettle Print Ad

This 1985 Weber One-Touch Kettle magazine ad implies, "If you can cook a beautiful turkey using this grill, imagine what you can do with burgers and brats?"

Also, the grilled stuffed tomatoes and onions are an odd accompaniment to turkey, IMHO.

My first 22 Kettle was a One Touch I bought in 1989. Sure would've liked that crimson color.

Back in '85, not too many people would have thought of grilling tomatoes and onion. Just a nice touch of encouragement. I also love that color.

My first grill was a 1985 (G code, black) one touch. Bought in 1995 for $5.00 at a yard sale (we had just moved into our first house). It lived on my deck all grilling season, and in the barn in the winter. Lasted until 2013 when one of the legs rusted off the kettle. I still have it in the barn.
