So after my first cook i struggled with the temp a lot and I read up on here and found the thermometers that come with these are way off. So I bought a nice digital air thermo (DOT) which is awesome.
Then I figured hell, the WSM is new so I contacted Weber and a replacement is on the way. Its the part for the 18.5 but I cant find if its actually the same - from the email Weber sent I think its not - but who cares. I really just wanted one that was roughly close. The original was off by 100 degrees! So it was quite worthless.
Do like the Thermoworks products tho. they are in UT and regular shipping gets them here in a day! They just had an open box sale which was nice!
